Oral Presentation Information

PREPARING YOUR PRESENTATION
As a helpful guide, we recommend that your presentation should comprise of one slide per minute. Please note that your Q&A time will be reduced if your presentation fills your entire allocated time slot. We request presenters please be mindful of their time. The program is very tight, and in fairness to all presenters, we will be asking session chairs to ensure that their speakers strictly adhere to time limits.

WHILE PRESENTING
Presenters will speak from the lectern, with the presentations displayed on the main screens for the audience.  A monitor on stage will also show the presentation content and the speaker's countdown timer, so you will see your slides and can keep track of your allocated time without needing to turn around. All presentations will be managed by the AV technician in the room, but you will be able to control your slides from the lectern and use the laser pointer to highlight content on the screen.

PRESENTATION UPLOADING AT NZICC
Presentations must be uploaded in the Speaker Presentation Room (Room 506) at least 1 full session prior to the session you are presenting in.  Please note that all presentations must be uploaded in this room, NOT in the room you are presenting. For those presenting on Wednesday, you must upload your presentation by 5pm on Tuesday 8 September as the Speaker Presentation Room will not be available on Wednesday.

All presentations will be preloaded and networked to your allocated session room. The AV technicians in the rooms will ensure everything is working and the session chairs will ensure sessions and presentations run to time.
