Lisa Blake is an experienced improvement and co-design leader with over 20 years’ experience across the private and public sectors. She began her career with organisations including Air New Zealand before moving into healthcare with Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), and now works within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora.
Over the past ten years at Ko Awatea, Lisa has led co-design and quality improvement initiatives that bring together staff, patients, whānau, and communities to shape more responsive, equitable health services. Her work includes telehealth, remote patient monitoring, cancer care, and models of care for gestational diabetes.
In her current role of Co design training and change lead, Lisa designs and delivers national training programmes, building capability in co-design, stakeholder engagement, and improvement practice. She is passionate about strengthening consumer partnerships and supporting sustainable system change across Aotearoa.
